Emma Nguyen didn't plan to build Houston's most innovative tennis facility. She planned to play tennis.

After building a successful career in optometry across Houston, Emma found the sport that changed everything. She came to tennis later than most, fell hard for the game, and quickly went from weekend player to competitive force — captaining leagues and earning national titles along the way.

But the more she played, the more she saw the same friction holding people back: weather cancellations, no partner, wrong racquet, coaches who assumed you already knew what you were doing. Houston had courts. It didn't have a place that genuinely removed every barrier between a person and the sport.

So she built one.
